WEST Brom come from behind to consign Burnley to their first league defeat since New Years Day.

Goals from Bostjan Cesar and Roman Bednar bring the Clarets' run of three successive wins to an abrupt end.

But it was Owen Coyle's side who got off to the perfect start, with James O'Connor firing them in front after only three minutes following Robbie Blake's free kick.

The Baggies were level just before the half hour, when central defender Cesar volleyed home Jonathan Greening's corner from just six yards.

And they completed the turnaround on the hour, when Paul Robinson crossed for Roman Bednar to head past Brian Jensen.

Jensen did come to Burnley's rescue 10 minutes later, saving Robert Koren's spot kick after he was brought down by Jon Harley.

But West Brom had done enough to bring Burnley's good run to an end, and put a dent in their play-off push.
