PRESTON win a frantic Lancashire derby 3-2 at Turf Moor.

Simon Whaley's long range shot nine minutes from time hands North End the points, but the game is marred by two Burnley players receiving their marching orders.

Chris McCann and Joey Gudjonsson are both given straight red cards, in two separate incidents, to cap a bleak afternoon for the Clarets.

Kyle Lafferty's looping header gave Burnley the lead on the half hour, before Chris Sedgewick equalised on the stroke of half-time.

Neil Mellor put Preston ahead before Chris McCann equalised, only to recieve his marching orders a minute later.

Whaley put Preston ahead again, before Gudjonsson was sent off the injury time.
