STEVEN Caldwell's solitary strike gets Burnley back to winning ways.

His header in first half injury time gave the Clarets their first win in their last seven on the road.

And in a double whammy for Caldwell, he was part of a defensive unit that recorded only their second clean sheet in the last 10 games.

The win made sure Burnley recorded their best points tally for a season since 2001/02, and got them back to winning ways following last week's reversal at home to Sheffield United.

However, they had Brian Jensen to thank for a strong of fine saves, the pick of which came in injury time to deny Youssef Safri.
