| BURNLEY go seventh in the
Championship with their third straight win. And the goalscorers have a familiar look about them, with Robbie Blake and Ade Akinbiyi both on target, as they were in the win at Coventry seven days earlier. Blake gave the Clarets the lead as early as the ninth minute, smashing home the loose ball after James O'Connor's cross was blocked. And Akinbiyi headed home his seventh of the campaign from close range, following a fantastic piece of wingplay from Wade Elliott. Scunthorpe offered little all afternoon, as Owen Coyle celebrated his second successive home win. |
